Jessica Downey Ed.d.

Jessica Downey Ed.D. currently serves as the Principal of High Rock School within Needham Public Schools, a position held since July 2009. Prior experiences include serving as Assistant Principal at Wellesley Middle School from July 2004 to July 2009 and at Monson High School from July 2000 to June 2004. Jessica also worked as an English Teacher for Grade 8 at Monson Jr-Sr High School from August 1994 to June 2000. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies from Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development (2023), a Master of Education in School Leadership and Administration from Worcester State University (2000), and a Bachelor of Arts in English & Education from Springfield College (1993). Jessica also participated in the Rennie Center for Education Research and Policy program from 2016 to 2017.
