Prakash Ganesh is a highly qualified medical professional with extensive experience in various roles related to healthcare and education. Currently serving as a Board Member for MedWish International and Roots Of American Music, Prakash also holds positions as a Staff Physician at Neighborhood Family Practice, Medical Director at Cuyahoga County Board of Health, and Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Additionally, Prakash is the Program Director for the Combined Family Medicine/Preventive Medicine Residency Program at University Hospitals. Previous experience includes work as a Pediatric HIV Technical Advisor at the University of Washington. Prakash's educational background includes a Master of Public Health from Case Western Reserve University, an MD from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of California, Riverside.
Neighborhood Family Practice
Neighborhood Family Practice was founded in 1980 in response to a concern that residents of Cleveland’s near west side lacked access to primary health care. A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), NFP focuses on providing high quality primary care in a medical home setting. As a health care provider, our seven convenient locations offer same day appointments. The NFP service area spans twelve neighborhoods across Cleveland and Lakewood and is comprised of a very diverse mix of residents. NFP accepts Medicaid, Medicare, most commercial insurance plans and offers a financial assistance program (sliding fee scale) for the uninsured. Neighborhood Family Practice is a grantee of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and each of its locations are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA).
