Liz Canario has extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as a Community Care Coordinator at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island since July 2021. Previously, from September 2019 to July 2021, Liz worked as a Patient Access Representative at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, where responsibilities included managing admissions and discharges, arranging transfers, and handling patient financial information while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and HIPAA guidelines. Prior to that, from March 1993 to September 2019, Liz held the position of Registrar at Rhode Island Hospital, performing similar administrative duties, including verifying insurance, facilitating admissions, and providing necessary information to both patients and medical staff.
