Amaan Zafar

Amaan Zafar is a dedicated volunteer and aspiring healthcare professional with a robust experience in various medical and leadership roles. Currently active as a volunteer at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and serving as Volunteer Coordinator at Healthcare in Action, Amaan also holds positions as a Medical Assistant at Neighborhood Healthcare, Researcher at Med-RAMP, and Assistant Psychotherapist at the California Department of State Hospitals. Further contributions include an HCAP Internship at UCR Health, general support at the Illumination Foundation, and a previous role as Medical Scribe at ScribeAmerica. Amaan has been involved in Model United Nations since 2018, taking on leadership roles such as Director of Service Events and Assistant Secretary-General. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside, with a high school background from Gretchen Whitney High School and previous institutions.
