Marco Odiaga has a diverse work experience that spans multiple fields. Marco is currently working as a HS Partial Inclusion Special Education Teacher at Neighborhood House Charter School since 2018. Prior to this, they founded SEL Initiative, LLC in 2016, where they provided ongoing professional development on social and emotional learning (SEL) for educators and promoted SEL infusion into teacher training programs.
From 2008 to 2016, Marco Odiaga founded The Learners' Workshop, where they coached student teachers for Boston University School of Education, taught an online graduate-level course on SEL, and consulted with independent schools on diversity and social justice curricular initiatives.
Marco also worked at the University of Massachusetts/Boston from 2012 to 2013 as a Lecturer, Program Evaluator, and New Teacher Mentor.
