Cynthia Wang

Director at Neighborhood House

Cynthia Wang (she/her) is the Board President of Neighborhood House. She has been on the Neighborhood House board for the past 3 years. Cynthia recently joined the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA) as its Interim Executive Director. Prior to joining PSCAA, Cynthia spent 20 years at IBM and retired in 2021 as its Senior State Executive for Washington, where she represented IBM Washington in Federal legislative sessions and managed the safety and well-being of IBM employees in our state. While at IBM, she had numerous leadership roles in design, technology, and business management.

Before joining IBM, Cynthia worked as a chemical engineer, developing solutions for clients in pharmaceutical, automotive, food and beverage industries, as well as for federal agencies such as US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Cynthia received her MBA in finance and general management from Columbia Business School in New York. She also holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.
