Neighborhood House
Kayla Guild-Taylor is a Community Health Case Manager II at Neighborhood House since August 2023, specializing in HIV and HEP C testing, mental health and substance use treatment referrals, and case management services. Previously, as a Community Health Worker at YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish, Kayla provided health education and advocacy for homeless families and individuals. Kayla gained valuable experience as a Health Communications Intern at the Tubman Center for Health and Freedom, creating content focused on health topics affecting marginalized populations. Involvement in the Students of Color for Public Health as a Co-Event Coordinator included planning an annual Anti-Racism and Community Health Conference. Early roles include a food expeditor at Castilla Restaurant, sales associate positions at Vans and GARAGE, and Field Manager at Fund for the Public Interest. Kayla earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health-Global Health from the University of Washington School of Public Health in 2022.
