Bill Ness is the CEO and Founder of Neighborhoods.com.

Bill has long had a passion for real estate. A wise recruiter at his college career fair convinced Bill to pass up a job as a pharmaceutical sales rep and instead come work in sales with him at a large real estate development near Chicago. That recruiter convinced Bill to get into real estate by asking him the question, "Do you want to spend your life in doctors' waiting rooms or do you want help people make one of the biggest decisions of their life?" And with that, Bill started his real estate career.

After working for Del Webb, a large national homebuilder of 55+ age-restricted active adult communities, Bill left in 2007 to chase his entrepreneurial dream. Later that year, Bill launched 55places.com, which is the foremost resource for people who want to find, research and compare active adult retirement communities throughout the country. It was here that Bill recognized the importance people place on selecting the right neighborhood when searching for a new home, which led to the establishment of Neighborhoods.com.
