Ben Gardeen

Ben Gardeen has a strong background in corporate communications and public relations. Ben currently holds the position of Vice President, Corporate Communications & Public Relations at Neighborly. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Relations at Radisson Hotel Group from 2016 to 2020. In this role, they led strategic planning and execution of internal communications, public relations, and corporate events. Before joining Radisson Hotel Group, they worked at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in various roles, such as Director of Public Relations and Public Relations Manager, Americas. Ben also has experience working at Carmichael Lynch Spong as a Senior Associate and at Porter Novelli as an Account Executive. Ben began their career as a Post-graduate Intern at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide. Throughout their career, they have supervised teams, provided counsel, and managed relationships with external agencies.

Ben Gardeen graduated from Iowa State University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree. Their majors were Journalism and Mass Communications, as well as Spanish Language and Literature. In 2017, they attended The Strategic Communication Academy at Sundance organized by CRA, Inc. In 2021, they obtained additional certifications in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci, and Finance for Non-Financial Managers from LinkedIn.
