Jerry Mayberry

Jerry Mayberry has extensive experience in information security, compliance, and disaster recovery. Jerry is currently the Director of Information Security and Compliance at Neighborly®, where they are responsible for managing daily cybersecurity operations, conducting network monitoring, and coordinating cyber risk management. Prior to this, Jerry worked as the Director of Information Security and Disaster Recovery at Centra Health. Jerry also has a background in IT controllership and security analysis, enterprise risk management, operational risk management, and business continuity management at Genworth. Before transitioning to the private sector, Jerry served as a Police Officer III and Patrol Supervisor at the Lynchburg Police Department, where they specialized in critical incident management, school resource officer roles, and SWAT team duties.

Jerry Mayberry obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Radford University between 1987 and 1992. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in August 2018, Operational Risk Management Certification from PRMIA in 2015, Certified Business Continuity Professional(CBCP) from DRI International in 2009, Everbridge Mass Notification Message Sender Certification, SKYWARN Weather Spotter Certification from NOAA National Weather Service, and eBRP Train the Trainer Certification from eBRP Solutions Network, Inc.
