John Herweh

John Herweh has extensive experience in leadership and human resources roles across various industries. John currently serves as the Chief People Officer at Neiman Enterprises, Inc. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing the human resources function.

Prior to their current position, John held the role of Officer and Vice President of Human Resources at MMG Insurance, where they provided strategic leadership and guidance to senior leadership, focusing on talent expansion and creating a high-performance culture.

John also has a background in the military, having served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army. During their time in the Army, they trained and mentored new officers and held various leadership positions, including Group S-1 (HR Staff Officer) in charge of personnel functions.

Additionally, John served as the Vice President of Human Resources at NJVC, LLC, where they collaborated with the executive leadership team to drive human capital strategies and support business goals. John also directed a team of HR and talent acquisition professionals and provided guidance for corporate M&A activities.

Prior to NJVC, LLC, John worked in human resources roles at Perdue Farms, The Hershey Company, Armstrong World Industries, Allen Family Foods, Inc., and Townsends. Throughout these roles, they gained experience in associate relations, employee integration, talent on-boarding, workforce planning, talent sourcing, and corporate training.

John holds an MBA and certifications as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP).

John Herweh obtained their HS Diploma in College Prep from Hempfield High School. John then went on to complete their BA in Business Administration from Gettysburg College. Later, they pursued an MBA in Business from Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business. Additionally, John holds certifications such as Mental Health First Aid Responder, SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification.
