Al Mielnik

Al Mielnik is currently the Business Development Manager for Nekoosa Coated Products in the Southeast. Al has over 27 years of experience in the paper industry, starting with International Paper in 1993. There, they worked their way up to Senior Sales Coordinator. In 2000, they transferred to Appvion Inc. where they became Sales Supervisor. Al was responsible for maintaining and growing sales for Appvion in the southeastern US for rolls and sheets in carbonless paper and their new specialty digital products. Al stayed with Appvion until 2020 when they transferred to Nekoosa Coated Products.

Al Mielnik studied marketing and marketing management at Gannon University and Christian Brothers University.

Al Mielnik works with Alison Svoboda - Business Development Manager, Extruded Films, Laura Slovensky - Marketing Manager, and Scott Bell - Business Development Manager, Midwest. Al Mielnik reports to Guy Leigh, VP of Sales & Marketing.
