Hillary Yiu

Hillary Yiu has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Hillary currently works as a Scientist at Nektar Therapeutics since July 2019. In this role, they support the process analytical process by conducting plate-based assays, running different methods to support the Biologics License Application (BLA) application, screening new antibodies, interpreting analytical data, and generating technical documents.

Before joining Nektar Therapeutics, Hillary worked as a Research Associate at Genentech from March 2016 to July 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Science Laboratory Technician at the Hong Kong Government Laboratory from January 2009 to October 2013. Hillary also worked as a Technician at the Hong Kong Jockey Club, Institute of Chinese Medicine from May 2006 to October 2007.

Hillary's earlier work experience includes being a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from November 2000 to May 2006 and serving as a Supervisor Manufacturing II at Bayer from December 1996 to March 2000.

Hillary Yiu has a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Washington State University. Hillary also holds a Master's of Science in Biopharmaceutics from UNSW, which they obtained through distance learning.
