Thor Olav Waage

Thor Olav Waage is a skilled System Engineer with extensive experience in the subsea oil and gas sector, currently employed at Nel Hydrogen since January 2023. Prior to this, Thor Olav Waage worked at Aker Solutions from June 2008 to December 2022, where roles included System Engineer and Project Engineer for Tie-in & Structures, as well as Workover Control Systems, focusing on design reviews and systems integration. Earlier career experience includes positions as an Electrician at Elektromesteren AS and an Electrical Trainee at Bravida Norge AS. Thor Olav Waage holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oslo and Akershus University College.
