We are looking for a full-time Head of People at our headquarters in Berlin. 

As a FinTech in the healthcare sector, we revolutionize the everyday work processes with our innovative solutions in the areas of payment, factoring and patient journey. Our team of industry experts is passionate about the technology and data-driven digitalization of workflows in the healthcare industry. Nelly is well funded by top investors such as Lakestar, GFC, b2venture and Motive Partners and is aiming for fast and sustainable growth.

As our Head of People, you will be drive the people strategy of Nelly, ensure a strong company culture and oversee the entire employee lifecycle.

What you’ll get to do

  • You develop and drive the people strategy of Nelly.
  • You support our organisational development and expansion strategy with your HR expertise.
  • You drive our strong company culture further in line with our company principles.
  • You advise our C-Level about personnel strategies and practices.
  • You implement a holistic talent strategy from hiring through development paths, performance reviews, promotion processes to succession planning.
  • You are responsible for recruiting key hires and build up the people team.
  • You manage HR policies and processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws across the different locations.
  • You are responsible for the entire employee lifecycle and further develop our existing processes along this lifecycle.

About you

  • You have a proven track record (> 4 years) in People leadership roles in high-growth start-ups (ideally in the FinTech area).
  • You developed and implemented people growth paths (levelling, salary bands, leadership upskilling), processes (feedback, performance review, promotions), and strategic initiatives (budgets, target operating models, organizational design).
  • You successfully scaled the former organization from 50 to > 150 people.
  • You have excellent communication skills (fluency in German and English).
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment and build up our people department.
  • You are an ambitious, purpose-driven, and empathetic leader.
  • You prefer to work independently and deliver results within OKR frameworks.
  • You are known for your empathy and ability to build relationships and positively influence others.
