Mary Cadwallender

Mary Cadwallender is a skilled Landscape Designer with extensive experience in the field, currently employed at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects since September 2017. Prior roles include positions as a Landscape Designer at Rhodeside & Harwell, Incorporated and a Graduate Design Assistant at Virginia Tech, where contributions to the Springsbury Arboretum project earned a 2016 ASLA Merit Award for Unbuilt Projects. Additional experience includes working as an Assistant Coordinator for the Farm Alliance of Baltimore City and serving as a Sustainable Agriculture Extension Agent with the Peace Corps. Mary holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a Biochemistry Concentration and Women's Studies from Goucher College, complemented by a brief educational experience at NOLS and early education at The Madeira School.
