John Capobianco

John Capobianco is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in workplace design and leadership. Currently serving as the Senior Vice President and National Design Leader at NELSON Worldwide since October 2025, John previously held the position of Senior Principal and Creative Director for the Americas at Unispace from November 2023 to October 2025. Prior to that, John was Design Director and Principal at IA Interior Architects for nearly a decade, and also served as Design Director/Senior Associate at HLW. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Designer at TPG Architecture and Lamarca Butler LLP. John holds a Master of Professional Studies in Design Management from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
