Andrew Brentano

Andrew Brentano has a diverse work experience. Andrew is currently serving as the Chief of Staff at Nelumbo, Inc since September 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Program Manager at Nelumbo, Inc from February 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Nelumbo, Inc, Andrew was involved in the co-founding and leadership of Tiny Farms Inc. Andrew served as the CEO from January 2017 to November 2019, where they successfully raised seed funding, managed investor relations, and led business strategy and product development. Prior to that, they held the position of COO from August 2012 to January 2017 and played a key role in tackling the problem of scaling protein production using crickets for food, pet food, and animal feed.

In addition to their entrepreneurial ventures, Andrew also worked as a Principal at Artichoke Jalapeno Design from December 2012 to December 2014. Andrew also gained experience as a Project Manager at Smart Action Company LLC from April 2010 to May 2012.

Earlier in their career, Andrew worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of British Columbia from September 2008 to December 2009. Andrew also worked independently as a Linguistics Tutor from September 2008 to April 2009.
