Kevin Downes

Kevin Downes possesses extensive experience in account management and purchasing within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Global Account Manager at Nemak since May 2000, Kevin has successfully managed the Ford Powertrain North American business, achieving significant sales growth and cost reductions. Previous roles at Ford Motor Company included positions as a Purchasing Specialist and Program Manager, where Kevin led initiatives that resulted in substantial savings and efficiency improvements. Kevin also held a Purchasing Manager position at Cox and Company and began a career as a Buyer at Harris Corporation. An alumnus of Michigan State University, Kevin holds dual degrees in Materials Logistics Management.
