Charlie Sheridan

Charlie Sheridan currently serves as the Chief Data and AI Officer at Nemetschek Group, a position held since May 2024. Prior experience includes serving as the Global Technical Director for Manufacturing, Automotive, and Energy at Google Cloud from September 2020 to May 2024, where digital transformation initiatives were driven utilizing Google Cloud AI and platform technologies. Sheridan also held the position of Director at Huawei Technologies, focusing on next-generation IoT, edge computing, and security technologies for manufacturing and automotive sectors. Prior to this, Sheridan directed various research efforts at Intel Corporation from 2007 to 2018, leading international teams in IoT technology development, establishing Smart City research initiatives, and managing strategic energy and sustainability programs in Europe. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from Dublin City University, a Post Graduate Diploma in the Business Value of IT from Maynooth University, and a Diploma in Electronics from Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
