Julian Ihssen

Julian Ihssen has worked in various roles since 2005. Julian started as a Scientist at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences in 2005. In 2006, they moved on to become a Staff Scientist at EMPA. From 2015 to 2022, they worked as a Team Leader Biology and R&D Biologist at Biosynth Carbosynth. Currently, they are a Senior Lab Manager at NEMIS Technologies AG.

Julian Ihssen completed their PhD (Dr. sc. nat.) in Environmental Microbiology from ETH Zürich in 2005, after earning their Diploma in Environmental Science from the University of Bayreuth in 2000.
