Kirk Johnson

Kirk Johnson is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in product management and engineering. Currently serving as the VP Product - Platform at Neo Financial since March 2022, Kirk drives the development of world-class solutions for the fast-growing company focused on transforming Canadian financial experiences. Previously, as Director of Product Management at Blackline Safety from August 2016 to April 2022, Kirk contributed to the company's growth from 70 to over 600 employees while developing IoT devices and SaaS solutions for safety monitoring. Kirk's background also includes roles as Global Product Manager at BW Technologies by Honeywell, where leadership in hardware design for gas detection equipment was demonstrated, and earlier experiences as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Honeywell Analytics, a Programmer, and an IT Administrator at KIRK Computer Systems Ltd. Kirk holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary.
