Ewan Abel

Ewan Abel is a seasoned professional in well engineering, currently serving as the Well Engineering Manager at NEO NEXT Energy since July 2025. Prior experience includes roles as Well Engineering Manager at Repsol Sinopec Resources UK Limited, where responsibilities spanned multiple leadership positions in well engineering and production technology from September 2012 to August 2025. Earlier experience at Talisman Energy involved various engineering roles focused on subsea completions, intervention engineering, and cost efficiency initiatives from November 2000 to August 2012. Ewan Abel holds an MEng in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University and an MSci in Physics with Photonics from the University of St Andrews.
