Pierce D.

Pierce D. has a strong background in engineering and research, with a focus on agricultural and environmental projects. They began their career as an Agricultural Research Assistant at McGill University in 2016 before taking on leadership roles, such as Autonomous Hydroponic Project Lead, at the university from 2017 to 2019. During this time, they also worked as a Software Project Manager at ERA Environmental.

Pierce D. then pursued a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering at McGill University from 2019 to 2021. Following their studies, they joined Hahn-Schickard as a Soil Measurement Mechatronics Engineer, where they were involved in the development of automated systems for soil nutrient extract processing.

In 2021, Pierce D. transitioned to INFARM, initially working as a Hardware Project Manager before becoming a Project Engineer. In these roles, they contributed to various projects involving engineering and project management.

Currently, Pierce D. is employed as an R&D Mechanical Engineer at NeoCarbon, a position they started in 2023.

Pierce D. has a strong educational background in engineering and agricultural studies. Pierce obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Bioresource Engineering from McGill University - Macdonald Campus. During this time, they gained a deep understanding of engineering principles and their application in the field of bioresources. After completing their undergraduate studies, they decided to further enhance their knowledge and pursued a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the same institution. This program allowed him to specialize in agricultural systems and technologies, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the engineering aspects of agriculture. The combination of their Bachelor's and Master's degrees provides Pierce D. with a solid foundation to excel in a variety of engineering roles, particularly in the agricultural sector.
