Dhuru Patel

Dhuru Patel has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. From 2021 to present, Dhuru has been working at The Dedham Group as a Senior Analyst, where they have been involved in multiple project engagements with biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Dhuru'sresponsibilities include conducting primary research, analyzing business processes, and creating databases for analytical decision-making. Prior to this role, from 2021 to 2022, Dhuru worked as an Analyst at The Dedham Group, specializing in advisory services for the life sciences industry. In 2023, Dhuru will be interning at UNC Health in the Department of Healthcare Engineering and Surgery. Additionally, Dhuru has been involved in various roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, the Student National Medical Association, NeoCharge, and MedScribes. Dhuru's earlier experience includes working as a Manager at AKSHAR DERI, INC. from 2014 to 2021, a Research Assistant and Project Lead at Dr. Hartstone-Rose Labs at North Carolina State University from 2018 to 2021, a Vaccination Team Volunteer at NeighborHealth Center in 2021, and a TRIO-SSS STEM Peer Mentor and Tutor at BC TRIO SSS from 2019 to 2021.

Dhuru Patel completed their primary and secondary education at West Henderson High School from 2013 to 2017. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology with a minor in Business Administration at North Carolina State University, graduating in May 2021. In addition to their Bachelor's degree, Dhuru Patel obtained a certification in Excel and Access from Microsoft in December 2016. Currently, they are enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine, working towards their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, which is expected to be completed between 2022 and 2026.
