Rene Slezak

Rene Slezak has a diverse work experience spanning several years. They started their career as a Help Desk Specialist at Thomson Reuters in 1992 and later became a Software QA Team Lead, where they created test structures and scheduled test responsibilities for teams. In 2006, they transitioned to the role of Product Manager, responsible for defining product roadmaps and setting direction for cross-functional teams. In 2010, they joined Refinitiv as a Software QA Manager, overseeing a team of quality engineers and managing client and user testing engagements. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at IBM Consulting, where they served as the Director of Quality Assurance, establishing a Quality Assurance department and providing project direction and testing needs. Currently, they are the Senior Director of Quality Assurance at Neocol, mentoring a QA department focused on consulting Salesforce subscription-based companies and improving customer experience through test planning and execution.

Rene Slezak obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations/Marketing Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, graduating in 1990. In addition, Rene has obtained several certifications including the Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant Certification (obtained in 2022), Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) certification (obtained in 2019), and the Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Professional certification (obtained in 2011).
