Francesco Mazzeo

Francesco is an Associate Professor at the University of Catania, Social and Political Science Department, where he teaches evaluation research methodology.

In the last 20 years, he conducted training, research, and consulting activities on program and policy evaluation, monitoring systems, and big data analytics in several regional, national, and international public organizations. He has been a visiting scholar at several Universities and Research Centers in Europe, the US, Asia, and Australia.

 He has served as an auxiliary agent at the European Commission for several years. He currently serves as CEO of Bench S.r.l., a Spin-off of the University of Catania, and associate editor of the Italian Evaluation Review.

 He has extensively published in the areas of Program Evaluation, Research Methodology, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data Analytics.
