Luiz Claudio Ramirez Nunes

Luiz Claudio Ramirez Nunes has over 35 years of experience in the engineering and construction sectors, primarily in renewable energy projects. As of January 2021, Luiz serves as an Engenheiro Especialista and Site Manager for the 149 MWp UFV Luzia at Neoenergia. Previous roles include Director Técnico e de Meio Ambiente for the 350 MW UHE Baixo Iguaçu with Consórcio Empreendedor Baixo Iguaçu from August 2019 to January 2021, and Director Técnico for the same project from April 2016 to August 2019. Luiz also held the position of Administrative and Financial Director for the 1820 MW UHE Teles Pires from December 2011 to April 2016. Luiz's earlier career includes significant roles at Neoenergia, Construtora Camargo Corrêa, Techint Engenharia e Construção, ITAMON, and Setal Instalacoes Industriais S.A. Luiz holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense, a postgraduate degree in Flow Machines from Universidade Federal de Itajubá, and a postgraduate degree in Project Management from IETEC - Instituto de Educação Tecnológica.
