Hutan Hashemi

Hutan Hashemi is the Chief Compliance Officer at NeoGenomics, Inc. and oversees the corporate compliance program across the NeoGenomics enterprise. Mr. Hashemi is a seasoned healthcare attorney, spending the last twelve years focusing on matters related to compliance, privacy and regulatory challenges within the diagnostics industry. Most recently, Mr. Hashemi served as Chief Compliance Officer at Progenity, Inc., a molecular diagnostics and device company and was responsible for the company’s compliance with their Corporate Integrity Agreement, from implementation activities to successful execution under the terms of the agreement. Previously, Mr. Hashemi spent eight years in various roles of increasing scope and responsibility at Genoptix including Chief Compliance Officer & Senior Counsel, where he played a vital role in the acquisition of Genoptix by NeoGenomics in 2018. Prior to his in-house career, Hutan was an attorney at the law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP. Mr. Hashemi earned his JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law (2004) and BA in Economics, with honors from the University of California, Irvine (2001). Mr. Hashemi is an active member of the State Bar of California.
