Mitual Amin

Dr. Amin joined NeoGenomics as a Senior Surgical Pathologist in 2022. Before joining NeoGenomics, Dr. Amin worked at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak for 21 years, where he served in various time periods as Director of Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory; Chief of the Department of Anatomic Pathology; Vice-Chair of Anatomic Pathology and finally as the Interim Chair and Chief of Pathology Service Line at Beaumont Heath. Dr. Amin has co-authored over 90 articles and presented numerous abstracts. He was a Clinical Professor at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine where he actively taught lectures and labs. Dr. Amin completed his residency in Pathology at B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, University of Mumbai in Mumbai, India and a residency in Anatomic & Clinical Pathology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He also completed a fellowship in Surgical Pathology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Dr. Amin is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
