Akar Sumset has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. Akar is currently a Co-Founder at Neol, a platform that connects creative talent with organizations tackling societal and environmental challenges. Previously, they founded Invertiv, emphasizing the importance of delivering results for users and companies. Akar also worked as a Mentor at FasterCapital and as an Organizer at ProductTank Istanbul, where they hosted product management meetups. Akar served as the Director in London for ATOLYE, a design and innovation company. Additionally, they worked as a self-employed Consultant in UX Design, Gamification, and Product Management, helping clients achieve results through a methodical approach. Akar has also held positions at Ozan.com, Webrazzi, Emlakjet, and Startupbootcamp Istanbul, where they served as a Head of User Experience and Product Management, an Author, and a Program Manager & Mentor, respectively.

Akar Sumset completed a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Engineering at Yildiz Technical University. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Communication Strategies & Public Relations at Galatasaray Üniversitesi from 2013 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Akar also obtained several certifications including "Gamification," "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part II," "Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies: The First Step in Entrepreneurship," "Grow to Greatness: Smart Growth for Private Businesses, Part I," and "Computing for Data Analysis." These certifications were acquired from Coursera in 2013.
