Tim Brown

Tim Brown has extensive work experience in the design and innovation field. Tim is currently serving as the Chief Evangelist at Neol since May 2023. Previously, they held various positions at IDEO, starting as the San Francisco office head from April 1992 to August 1995, then transitioning to become the London office head from August 1995 to August 2000. From August 2000 to August 2019, they served as the CEO of IDEO, and later became the Executive Chair from August 2019 onwards. Tim Brown has also been involved with kyu Collective since August 2019, holding the position of Vice Chair. Additionally, they served on the Board of Trustees at California College of the Arts from 2006 to 2013.

Tim Brown attended Northumbria University from 1981 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design for Industry. Tim then went on to the Royal College of Art from 1985 to 1987, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Design.
