Prior to that, they served as a Financial Director at Global Alliance Holdings Limited, where they provided insurance and reinsurance services to various sectors across multiple countries.

David Thomas CA (SA) has a strong educational background in Accounting and Finance. David obtained their CA (SA) qualification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. Prior to that, they earned a B. Compt (Hons) degree from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika from 1994 to 1996. Before that, they completed a BComm (Acc) degree at the University of Johannesburg from 1989 to 1993. David completed their secondary education at Potchefstroom Boys High School, where they obtained their Matric qualification from 1984 to 1988. Additionally, they have some unspecified educational experience with the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.
