Irina Ionascu

Irina Ionascu currently serves as the Director of Retail for NEOM, leading the retail development portfolio for THE LINE since August 2021. Prior to this role, Irina held key positions including Executive Director at Retail Boutique, where retail strategy and development advisory were primary responsibilities, and Leasing Director at mSquared Shopping Centres, focusing on the Burjuman Centre Redevelopment. Earlier experience includes serving as General Manager and Marketing Director for Al Ghurair Investment, overseeing asset refurbishment, leasing, and rebranding initiatives. Irina also held roles in marketing leadership at ALDAR Properties and was involved with the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres and Megamall Sharjah. Irina's career began at Al-Futtaim Malls and Jumeirah Group, emphasizing public relations and communications. Irina holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Universitatea „Spiru Haret” din București.
