Ismail Azam

Ismail Azam currently serves as the Head of Product at NEOM, where management responsibilities encompass 90 individuals across four product and engineering teams for Saudi Arabia's premier AI product, focusing on real-time smart city operations and geospatial intelligence. Previously, Ismail held prominent roles at New Relic, Inc., including Lead Product Manager in both Machine Learning and AI, where significant projects included the development of MLOps and the integration of OpenAI's GPT-4. Ismail's academic contributions as an instructor at UC Berkeley involved guiding students in product management and design thinking. With a robust educational background from prestigious institutions such as Harvard and UC Berkeley, Ismail has extensive experience in product management across various sectors, including contributions to Stanford’s Global Design Challenge and innovative projects at SFO and Kaiser Permanente.
