Roger Nickells

Roger Nickells is an accomplished professional in the design and construction sector with extensive experience leading high-profile projects across various regions. Currently serving as the Design and Construction Sector Head at NEOM since August 2021, Roger is dedicated to transforming productivity and delivering innovation through advanced manufacturing and construction practices. Previously, Roger held significant roles at Buro Happold, including Global Consulting Lead and Chief Executive Officer, where contributions led to a tripling of the firm's value. Roger also served as Managing Director across various positions at Atkins, overseeing large teams and impactful projects in the Middle East and emerging markets. Roger holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from The University of Salford and completed an executive program at Harvard Business School.
