Shannon Whitehead

Shannon Whitehead has a long history of experience in the communications and content creation industry. Shannon began their career in 2011 as a Team Lead at East Carolina University's Lab and ITCS Student Help Desk. In 2013, they worked as an Allocation Analyst for Cato Corporation. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Content Specialist and Account Manager for Posse Social Media, where they managed social media engagement for a group of 4-6 clients. In 2015, they became the Communications Coordinator for Transformation Church-TC, where they crafted copy for websites, print materials, graphic designs, email newsletters, and other communication needs. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Content Director for Church Fuel, where they oversaw the creation and distribution of all content, served as the final editing eye, and managed project management and content creation. In 2020, they worked as a Copywriter for Station16, where they lead written content for clients as assigned. Finally, in 2022, they began working as a Content Strategist for Neon One and a Copywriter for Quad.

Shannon Whitehead attended East Carolina University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications, Interpersonal and Organizational.
