Tristan Partin

Tristan Partin has a strong background in software engineering and development. Tristan is currently working as a Software Engineer specializing in Postgres at Neon since 2023. Prior to that, they were employed by Micron Technology, where they held various roles including Staff Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Systems Software Engineer. At Micron Technology, they worked on the Heterogeneous-Memory Storage Engine (HSE) and integrated it with MongoDB v3. 4. Tristan also worked at Expero as a Software Developer, where they assisted in abstracting a collection of TypeScript/Node.js microservices and developed a graph database benchmarking suite. Before that, they worked as a Software Development Intern at Expero, where they built a graph modeling course curriculum and developed various tools using AWS Lambda, Go, and Java. Tristan also gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at National Instruments, where they worked on driver development for automotive testing solutions. Lastly, Tristan interned at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they contributed to the translation of SharePoint data to a relational database and developed a desktop application in Python.

Tristan Partin obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, with a duration of study from 2015 to 2019. In addition to their degree, Tristan also earned two certifications: the Apache Cassandra™ 3.x Developer Associate certification from DataStax, achieved in February 2020, and the Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka certification from Confluent, achieved in July 2019.
