Zakaria Rachid

Zakaria Rachid is a seasoned professional in analytical method development and validation with over 9 years of experience in the academic and biopharmaceutical sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Analytical Method Development Specialist at Neopharm Labs Inc. since November 2019, Zakaria previously held the role of Analytical Method Validation Specialist at Jubilant HollisterStier from April 2017 to November 2019. Prior to that, Zakaria was the R&D Team Leader at Laboratoires SolarTech Inc., where responsibilities included the development and optimization of analytical methods, coordination of cross-functional analytics, and updating Standard Operating Procedures following regulatory guidelines. Zakaria's career began at McGill University Health Centre as a research associate and included a postdoctoral position focusing on novel compounds for cancer therapy. Zakaria holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal-Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I), obtained in 2001.
