Julie Bellani

Julie is Chief Human Resources Officer for NEP Group, joining the company in May 2019. She has enjoyed a successful HR career that includes extensive international experience gained in global companies across different sectors, geographies and ownership structures.

In 1994, she began her career in the HR Leadership Development Programme at General Electric, and then in a number of HR generalist and specialist roles across GE Capital. At the end of 2002, she joined Novartis, where over a period of ten years, she held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, ranging from Talent Management/Leadership Development to HR Business Partner to Compensation & Benefits. In 2013, after two decades of experience in Financial Services and Pharmaceuticals, she joined British Telecom as Chief Human Resources Officer for BT Global Services to round out her knowledge of technology and communications. Julie then moved to a privately held enterprise in 2016 where she became the first Group Head of People for Nando’s, a global restaurant and consumer goods business.

Julie graduated cum laude in Business Administration from Bocconi University in Milan.An Italian National, Julie has lived in nine different countries and three continents and, in addition to Italian, she speaks English and French fluently, and can get by in German and Spanish. She splits her personal time between London and Surrey where Julie lives with her partner enjoying cycling, gym, cooking and traveling alongside country pursuits and city cultural activities.
