Daanish Alam

Daanish Alam's work experience begins with their role as a Development Officer at EastWest Institute, where they managed a donor database and implemented a new system for online donations. Daanish then worked as a Special Correspondent at THE FRONTLINE CLUB LIMITED, where they wrote an article on the Leveson Inquiry that was used in the deliberations. After that, they served as a Paralegal at Mian Law, conducting research on cases related to financial, international, and contract law. Daanish then joined the Office of the Shadow Attorney General as an Outreach Manager, representing constituents and producing research papers on socio-economic issues. Daanish then worked at The Bureau of Investigative Journalism as a Project Research Analyst, participating in research projects and tracking down exclusive information. Daanish later became a Development Officer at 89 Initiative, maintaining relations with donors and proposing a fundraising strategy. After that, Daanish served as the Head of Strategy at Geo Tv Network, managing partnerships and leading the creative team. Daanish then joined Streetbees, first as a Business Development Manager, then as a Global Client Consultant, and finally as a Global Client Strategist, managing client relationships and taking on strategic projects. At Vinny, they worked as the Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing financial projection, business development, and partnership management. Currently, Daanish is working as a Client Strategy Director at Nepa, where they are responsible for growth strategy, business development, and revamping global propositions. Throughout their career, Daanish has received recognition for their work, including winning the "Challenging Status Quo" Quarterly Award.

Daanish Alam received a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Politics, Film from New York University in 2013. In 2014, they earned a Master of Science in Political Science and Political Economy from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Later, in 2020, they obtained a Foundation Certificate in Counselling Skills with a focus on Counseling Psychology from Westminster Pastoral Foundation.
