Madindra Basnet

Dr Basnet earned his MBBS (2007) and MD Anesthesiology (2011) from Institute of medicine, Tribhuvan University. He received his WFSA thoracic anesthesia fellowship at Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. Since last 7 years he is actively involved in anesthetic and ICU management of cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesia at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center (MCVTC). He is actively involved in activities of MD anesthesiology program of TU teaching hospital as well as residents of Tribhuvan and Kathmandu University posted at MCVTC. He has been actively involved in establishing and managing anesthesia and intensive care at Nepal Cancer Hospital.

He had been affiliated with several medical institutions. He worked as a consultant anesthesiologist in Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital for 2 years (2012 – 2014), Grande International Hospital for 1.5 years and as an assistant professor in Institute of Medicine (IOM), Maharajgunj Medical campus since 2011 till date.
