Raju Pangeni

Consultant Pulmonologist at Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center

Dr Pangeni is a visiting consultant Pulmonologist and Intensivist at Nepal Cancer Hospital. He completed his MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine, 2007) from Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu and later achieved Doctorate (DM) degree in “Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine” from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, Delhi) in 2017. He also has received a short term fellowship in Diabetology from UCLAN, the United Kingdom. Dr Pangeni has published more than a dozen papers and articles in various national and international peer reviewed journals and books. He is an active member of the Society of Internal Medicine of Nepal (SIMON), Nepalese Respiratory Society (NRS), Thoracic Society of Nepal, European Respiratory Society (ERS) and Nepalese Society of Critical Care Medicine (NSCCM). Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in Patan Academy of Health Sciences (PAHS) for over five years. He is also working as a senior consultant in HAMS Hospital, Dhumbarahi. His fields of interest are critical care, respiratory infections, airway diseases and sleep related breathing disorders.
