Rishi Ram Poudel

Dr Poudel obtained his M.B.B.S as well as MS Orthopedics degrees from prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS), New Delhi. He has special interest in performing difficult and challenging limb salvage surgeries for malignant bone and soft tissue sarcomas. He has honed his surgical skills and his knowledge, having worked in exclusive Orthopedic Oncology departments at AIIMS New Delhi, University of Malaya, Malaysia and Max Institute of Cancer Care, New Delhi. He has published numerous research articles in various international indexed journals and 3 chapters in international Orthopedic and Oncology text books.

He is an awardee of Geeta Mittal Medal & Book prize’ best clinical research for the year 2013, A.I.I.M.S, New Delhi; Ponsetti Casting Competition at National Clubfoot Conference 2015, New Delhi: First Prize; Michiyo Takumi Yonezawa Award for best paper presentation (Young Orthopaedic Surgeon) at Orthocon 2017 (Annual Meeting of Nepalese Orthopedic Association).
