Barney Schauble

Barney Schauble is a seasoned finance and business professional with extensive experience in risk management and insurtech investments. Currently serving as Senior Business Advisor and Head of Labs at Nephila Advisors LLC since January 2010, Barney oversees research and development initiatives. In addition to roles as Director at The Production Board and Oakland Roots Sports Club, and as an Investor and Chair of the Sporting Committee at Venezia FC, Barney has held directorial positions at Ceres, Inc. and Nephila Climate, focusing on weather and climate-related risk strategies. Previous experience includes directorships at Advisen, MetroMile, and The Climate Corporation, alongside partnership at Nephila Capital, specializing in catastrophe and weather risk investments. Barney holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University.
