Christian Goossen

Christian Goossen is a Scientist I at Neptune Bio, having transitioned to this role in July 2025 after completing a PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh in May 2025, under the supervision of Patrick Pagano, Ph.D. With prior experience as a Life Sciences Consultant at Fourth River Solutions, Goossen contributed to a mock engagement focused on the development of a Class III medical device. Additionally, experience as Vice President of Communications for the Biomedical Graduate Student Association from August 2023 to August 2024 involved enhancing relationships between graduate and professional students. Goossen also worked as a Molecular Laboratory Assistant at Vaccinex, participated as a Teaching Assistant at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and conducted undergraduate research under Michael Gleghorn, Ph.D., while earning a degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Bioscience from RIT in May 2020.
