Martin Fischer

Martin Fischer has extensive work experience in the technology and consulting industry. Martin is currently working at Neptune Software as the Head of Product since 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Product Manager at the same company from 2022 to 2023.

Before joining Neptune Software, Martin worked at German-speaking SAP User Group (DSAG e.V.) as the deputy spokesperson for the AG DevOps group starting from 2019. Martin was also a member of the SAP Influencer program at SAP Mentors from 2017 onwards.

Martin spent a significant portion of their career at bridgingIT, starting as a Senior Consultant in 2011. Martin then held various roles such as Business Manager, Manager CoE SAP, and Portfolio Unit Manager SAP Database & Technology. At Capgemini, they worked as a Senior Consultant from 2008 to 2011. Martin also had early career experiences at ESPRiT Unternehmensberatung AG and AIRBUS.

Martin began their career as an apprentice at REIFF - Gruppe in 1999 and later worked as an In-House Consultant. Martin has a strong background in SAP and technology consulting.

Martin Fischer's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. From 2003 to 2007, they attended Technische Hochschule Ulm and Hochschule Neu-Ulm, where they obtained a Diplom Wirtschaftsinformatkier (FH) and Diplom Wirtschaftsinformatiker (FH) respectively, specializing in the field of Wirtschaftsinformatik (Business Informatics). In 2003, they also attended Kettering University for one year, focusing on Business and Computer Sciences but did not obtain a degree.

In terms of certifications, Martin Fischer became a Certified SCRUM Master through the Scrum Alliance in May 2011. Martin also obtained the title of SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.0 from SAP in September 2008. Additionally, in February 2022, they obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
