Patrick Chong

Patrick Chong has extensive work experience in the telecommunications and technology industry. Patrick is currently serving as the VP Network Infra & Cloud for Nera Telecommunications Ltd. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Channels for UnifyCloud LLC and as Business Development and Alliances for August Communications Pte. Ltd. Patrick also held roles such as Business Consultant for Epirus Networks, Regional Sales Manager for Splunk, and Regional Sales Manager (Service Providers) for Blue Coat Systems. In addition, they served as the Business Development Director for Shenick Network Systems, Regional Director for Netscreen Technologies, and Regional Director for Blue Coat Systems (acquired by Symantec). Patrick started their career as the Area Sales Manager for Efficient Networks (Asia) Pte Ltd.

Patrick Chong has a diverse education history. Patrick obtained Certificates in Google Cloud Technology from Agilitics Singapore in 2020-2021, specializing in Google Cloud Architect. Before that, they pursued a Specialist Diploma in Business & Big Data Analytics, focusing on Artificial Intelligence, at Nanyang Polytechnic from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, they hold an Executive Diploma in Marketing (EDM) and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing (GDM) from the Marketing Institute of Singapore, earned in 1996 and 1995 respectively. Patrick also has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Loughborough University, completed between 1992 and 1994. Patrick began their educational pursuits by obtaining a Diploma in Computer Studies from Informatics Education Ltd. in 1988-1990 and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, graduating in 1990.
