TJay Belt

TJay Belt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data architecture and administration. TJay currently holds the position of Director of Data and Senior Data Architect at Nerd United since June 2023. Prior to this, they were a Senior Data Architect at Nerd United since February 2022. Before joining Nerd United, TJay worked at HealthEquity as a Senior Data Architect from April 2019 to January 2022. TJay also served as a Regional Mentor at the Professional Association of SQL Servers from 2007 to January 2021. TJay gained experience as the Manager of Database Administration at Nature's Sunshine Products from January 2016 to April 2019. TJay also worked as a Database Administrator at Imagine Learning from December 2010 to December 2015. Earlier in their career, TJay served as a Senior Consultant at SQL Solutions Group from December 2010 to June 2015. TJay began their career as a Senior Database Administrator at Authorize.Net from May 2008 to December 2010, where they were responsible for managing critical databases and establishing coding standards and release management processes. TJay also founded and led the Utah County SQL Server User Group from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they worked as a Database Administrator at ACS from October 2002 to May 2008. TJay briefly worked as a Database Developer at mpi in 2005. Overall, TJay Belt has demonstrated a strong expertise in data architecture, administration, and leadership roles throughout their career.

TJay Belt obtained their High School Diploma in 1987 from Tehachapi High School. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Brigham Young University, which they successfully completed in 1994.
