Kai Ory

Kai leads Nerdy’s Market Operations organization, responsible for recruiting and managing the tutors and experts on the Nerdy platform, and overseeing the process and technologies for matching experts with learners. Kai has held a variety of roles across the company since joining in 2017, including positions in product management and marketing, and most recently leading Nerdy’s Test Prep category. Prior to Nerdy, Kai spent several years at Amazon in supply chain management and product management functions, where he was responsible for an on-demand manufacturing service used to fulfill millions of customer orders each year. Kai has an undergraduate degree in Politics & Economics from Colorado College and received his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
